Property Description

At La Casa Blanca guest may choose between three large bedrooms each with its own bath. This spacious home is perfect for families or groups of six.

A sofa bed in the second floor media room can accommodate two additional guests though it provides little privacy and the bathroom is downstairs.

The floor plan is very open with plenty of room to congregate for meals and conversation.
A media room is on the second level with a flat screen television and DVD/Blue-ray player. Bring your own DVDs or watch ours.

The upper level also has a spacious conversation area which opens to the upper terrace.
The villa offers breathtaking view beautiful from inside or out.
From December through April (prime season is Jan through March) humpback whales put on a show right in front of the villa (see the video made with a drone in March 2016).
Swim in the immaculately kept pool or walk to a protected white sand beach just a few yards outside the front gate.

The large kitchen has a 4-burner gas stove, gas oven and the expansive cabinets are stocked with cooking utensils. A large side-by-side refrigerator/freezer allows you to stock up for a week.
Hot and cold electric water dispenser, blender, toaster, mixer, electric coffee pot, plates, glasses, stemware and silverware for at least 8 and a dishwasher for quick clean up.
A washer and dryer are available for your use.

If you choose to dine indoors, the table seats eight comfortably and an over-sized coffee table by the L-shaped sofa nearby will hold any overflow. The outdoor, shaded dining table also seats eight but there are several occasional tables and additional chairs should you have extra guests.
All 3 bedrooms have remote controlled air-conditioning and ceiling fans.

The two largest bedrooms have modern, Italian style bathrooms with 2 glass sinks, separate shower and toilet enclosures and large closets.

The third large bedroom is well designed, with plenty of storage and a large bathroom.

On the second level there’s a large wrap-around balcony overlooking the ocean.

You’ll find plenty of comfortable outdoor seating.

WiFi internet is available, with reasonable speed and bandwidth.

Security: The villa employs a night watchman (Neivo). Additionally the villa is located in a private condo development, The Cove, with a remotely operated security gate. The development has a night watchman and 24 hour a day security on weekends during the peak winter season. The villa has a large area for parking your cars inside the villa gate.

Within walking distance, just outside the condo gate is a small «colmado», corner grocery store, called Hernandez. A very “Dominican” store; it doesn’t look like much but you will be surprised what you can find there.

Alex & Milly, your host and hostess, will occupy the fourth bedroom. In addition to preparing and serving breakfast they will be available to answer your questions and suggest dining and excursions to fit your taste and interests. Alex can help you line up four wheeler trips, bicycle trips, and many other adventures. He will also be available to help keep the mechanical systems running as smoothly as possible. He has lived on a sailboat so he knows how to fix things. This is the Dominican Republic, however, and sometimes the electricity goes out or the water pressure drops. Your understanding will be appreciated.
