The Merchants House is a licensed guesthouse situated on the shore of Loch Ryan, in the picturesque village of Cairnryan. We are situated less than a mile from both Stena and P&O ferry terminals for Irish Sea crossings to Northern Ireland. Guesthouse is less than one miles from new Stena ferry terminal and less than 1/2 mile from P&O ferry terminal and is ideally situated for guests travelling to or from Northern Ireland.

We have an eighteen-cover licensed dining room, a cosy bar and three guest bedrooms, two of which have en-suite shower rooms and views over Loch Ryan and one smaller double with shared barhroom. A further four bedrooms are also available in the adjacent Auld Cairn Guest House, all of which are en-suite rooms, two also with sea views and one ground floor room particularly suitable for guests with mobility problems who may find stairs difficult.

The various facilities this traditional bed & breakfast offers include a garden and wireless internet.
